snow, burned tongues, and other things

Yesterday I woke up to snow. I was not pleased. I love the springtime and I wish it were here. There are all kinds of outdoor things I want to do: go on hikes and picnics, lay out in the sun to read and study, wear sandals every day and shorts when I feel like it, start running again.

This morning, I woke up and looked outside. One glance told me all I needed to know. Snow. Again. So I made myself a mug of hot cocoa and glared out the window. While in the act of snow-hating, I took a sip of my hot cocoa and completely scalded my tongue. Bah. Humbug.

That would never happen if I were instead having a snow cone:

Snow is like one GIANT snowcone.
besides, you don't look too pleased with your snowcone in that picture, which I took.

Snow is like one giant snowcone that has no flavor and that fell on the ground. Yuck.
